The Founder

Sam Stacey obtained a degree in Architecture from Cambridge University. He went on to complete a further degree in Civil Engineering at Imperial College.

After graduating from Imperial he worked for Millennium Dome engineers, Buro Happold, where he gained Chartership as a Structural  Engineer. During this period he worked on the award winning British Airways HQ at Heathrow and supervised a diverse range of projects.

A posting to Riyadh saw him appointed as design co-coordinator for a large urban regeneration project. This was followed by a position on site supervising the structure of a 260m tall office tower designed by Lord Foster.

Sam returned to London in 1999 and working for two years in the property industry before setting up Bayswater Contracts Ltd.

He brings to projects a profound understanding of what makes a building successful, and of the value of each individual craftsman. His aim is to raise the benchmark of management for small and medium building contracts in London.
