Jarrod has been a
carpenter for eight years now. He originally studied in his home town of
Hawkes Bay in New Zealand for three years. Carpentry runs in his family, his
father and grandfather were both carpenters and so it was natural for him to
do the same.
Jarrod loves buildings
and the building industry because of the pleasure he gains from actually
working with his hands and meeting new and interesting people at work. He
also gains great satisfaction when he finishes a job and makes his clients
happy.
He likes working for
Bayswater because of the efficiency with which our jobs our run. He says
that the good preparation on this job has meant everyone knows exactly what
they should be doing. The result is a happy work force and an efficient job.
Jarrad’s love for
making his finished product look great comes from the time he spent
refurbishing luxury apartments and using fine materials such as marble and
oak flooring and walnut cabinets.
He loves rugby and used
to play professionally in the UK and Holland before he was injured and could
no longer play. He is also a keen surfer.
