Name: Rob Scott

Age: 28

Nationality: New Zealander

Rob has been a carpenter for seven years. He studied in Auckland for four years and worked on a variety of projects before moving to the UK. He likes buildings because each project is different and provides a fresh challenge. He also enjoys being out in the open air when he works.

On this job Rob has particularly enjoyed the installation of the steel work and calculating the load that the steel structure will have to take. Also, because this job is smaller than some of his other recent projects he has enjoyed being able to actually work on the tools again and get his hands dirty.

Rob has worked on a variety of projects and has built new houses, an auction house and a dairy factory back in New Zealand, this experience has given him a broad variety of skills.

Robs hobbies are watching and playing rugby and snowboarding. This hobby has recently taken him to Switzerland.
