Geoff has been a
cabinet maker for twelve years and in this time he has become a master
craftsman. He learned from a fine cabinet maker under whom he studied for
three years before setting up business by himself.
Geoff has always
enjoyed making things out of wood. It is something that he has a natural
aptitude for which is why he decided to build a career from it. He loves
wood because it is such a diverse material that can be used for many
purposes.
Geoff made the
staircase for Wiseton Road. He found this particularly interesting because
he was involved in the design work for this and made the architects original
plans practical to build. Geoff love4s to get involved in the design side of
things because it provides a challenge.
Geoff’s hobbies are
skiing and fishing. He enjoys both fresh water and sea fishing.
